In 1938, oil was discovered in commercial quantities in the Burgan field which allowed commercial production. • Provide advice and support in performing comprehensive techno-economic evaluations of new and existing technologies, assessing cost structures and value creation for projects under supervision.
• Provide advice and support in the evaluation of key and emerging technologies and trends in the Oil & Gas industry relating to Drilling & Completions, providing insightful assessments and recommendations for adoption.
• Represent the company in negotiations and collaborations with manufacturers, vendors, and external consultants to ensure seamless technology integration and partnership success.
• Contribute to the industry’s knowledge base by preparing technical papers for international professional societies and technical groups, and actively participating in industry committees and specialized groups.
• Share expertise through training, conduct in-house technical courses and workshops, and mentor young engineers to develop their skills within the Drilling & Completions domain.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards related to Drilling & Completions technologies, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary technology management initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiencies, optimizing operational costs, and minimizing environmental impact.
