The Porvoo refinery has a total production capacity of approximately 12 million tonnes annually.
In addition to processing some 10 million tonnes of crude oil per year for products such as low-sulphur marine fuels, the refinery has been producing renewable products from 100% renewable raw materials in its NEXBTL units since 2007.
